The Elektromotorenwerke Grünhain produce
drives at diverse power ratings for various
fields of application.

Small batches of different electric motors
should be coated with both, water-
and solvent-based paints. Apart from the high
quality of the coat, minimizing of the change-
over costs became top priority.

A universal design for the major components forms
the conceptual core of the plant: spraying stands
made of stainless steel, heated evaporation zones
and a specific paint-sludge removal system.

This allows to use both on the line, water-and
solvent-based paints and this - above all -
also alternately. So, the line is able to cope
with both alternatives any time - at short notice
and without any costly changeover.

The paint-sludge removal technology is particularly
innovative: Already in the spray booth the cleaning
water is run via a differentiated guiding mechanism
and for the first time the fully automatic evacuation of
depositing and floating paint sludge became feasible.
